Committed late - Am I in Supplemental Housing?

So i just commited and payed the deposity on the 26th, and it sounds like I'll probably end up in supplemental housing. But how do you find out if you've actually been put in it? Right now on eLiving when im updating my location preferences, for each area under the 'dorm type' dropdown list all it says is "no choices available." is that a definite sign?

please and thanx =)

I would think committing so late would likely put you in supplemental but im not sure why you dont have any options available under that menu. Wouldn’t hurt to call housing and ask. If you are placed in supplemental housing its not the end of the world, most people get moved out by the end of the first semester.

Hey congrats , what campus did you get accepted to , if you don’t mind me asking ? . Well I haven’t committed yet because I don’t know how much financial aid they will give me but a professor emailed me and I asked about housing they said that if there are no more on campus housing you might have to look at the options outside of the campus . I hope that helps

All freshmen are required to live on campus, that’s their only option. Actual assignments for freshmen will show up on eLiving in August, right before fall semester starts (LEAPrs summer assignments obviously show,up sooner).

If there are no location choices, then yes, you are probably bound for supplemental. At this point, the number of contracts equals or exceeds the number of students, but attendance is up in the air. So PSU isn’t going to give you a choice, because they want to put you in a room if they can, regardless of the dorm. Then you wait, and they wait, to see who shows up, who doesn’t pay their fall bill in August (effectively cancelling their enrollment), etc…
