i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go to UCLA. that is my dream

I assume you’re in-state and that you’re a junior (if the latter is true, then these approximations may be a bit off, as it’s a little early). Okay GPA and SAT, somewhat weak SAT IIs and ECs. The internship is good. Do you have any honors/awards? I’d say:

Berkeley: slight reach - reach (depending on essays)
UCLA: slight reach - high match (~50-60%)
UCSB/UCD: safe match
UCSC: safety
UCSD: match
USC: match
UVA (OOS): slight reach (50-50)
Tufts: slight reach - reach (depending on demonstrated interest, haha)
Cal Poly: safety
Stanford: reach

im in state California and i’m a senior.

everything looks good except SAT and SAT II’s could potentially hurt you for UCLA, Dartmouth, and Stanford. I had very similar stats and got into ucsd.
