common app activities?

<p>Hi! I have two questions about the activities section of the common app. </p>

<p>First of all, I am in Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, and Marching Band, all through the school. I have different leadership positions in each, and did them all in different and overlapping years. Should I put them in as three separate activities or as one?</p>

<p>Also, what should I put for activities where there are no leadership positions or I just don't have one? Just "Club Member" or "Ensemble Member?"</p>

<p>I would write ensemble member. If you have enough spots, you can list them separately. If not, group them. It’s hard for me to say since I don’t know how these activities work.</p>
