Okay...I applied ED to UPenn and had all my stuff in on time etc. However, after submitting my application, my counselor let me read the letter of rec he wrote and submitted onto the common app website and the letter had references to the University Of Pennsylvania all over it! I expressed my interest to him about attending UPenn, but if he SPECIFICALLY singled out UPenn in his rec. wont other colleges I apply to see this? Is there a way he can "withdraw" his letter of recommendation that he wrote, edit it and post it again for different colleges? Or perhaps, just upload a different rec for other colleges? And the worst part is...my counselor said both my other teacher recs had referrences to UPenn...which were also uploaded via the common app website! what should i do?! help!!

Just ask your counselor. He’s probably been doing this stuff for years and will understand it better than any of us. If he doesn’t know how to handle the situation, contact common app and the people there are extremely helpful and will walk you through the process.
