Common App Essay Question?

<p>For the common App essay I did the first choice about an expeirnce I had and its effects one and and such. I am just wondering, the essay doesn't have to be 5-Paragraph and all boring and stuff right?</p>

<p>The way I wrote my essay was more in a story. I took a Creative Non-Fiction class last year, and I wrote my essay in that format. I am pretty sure I got my message across, but I just want to know if it is all right to write the essay like that?

<p>for your common app essay, it is GOOD not to be boring and in the standard five paragraphs format. A story format could be great for the common app essay, but of course, it depends on whether the content is interesting and meaningful.</p>
