Are awards allowed in the Honors section? I have an award for Model UN and not sure which section to put it in.
It would probably be fine to list in the Honors section, but I think it is more appropriate to put it in the Activities section with your Model UN listing.
(It may depend on what the award is as well. If it’s a participation/competition/team/MVP award from a Model UN event, then under the Activity. If, on the other hand, it is something your school’s Social Studies Dept. awards to the most active/successful member, that is given as an Academic Dept Honor, then IMO it would be appropriate to list it under Honors.)
Use the application space to your best advantage. I think what matters most is that you include what’s important to you, and you do so in a clear and concise manner.
