Hey.
Umm. There are various things I'm still not clear on. And the deadline is fast approaching. Since the commonapp is based on the US education system, how would I go about completing the academics section where they ask for things like, GPA, Honors, AP, etc? Since I have studied in the Cambridge O and A level education system, I'm unfamiliar with these things. Should we leave those blank? Also, I have done A LOT of Co-curriculars, but on this side of the universe, we don't have timed activities as such, so how should I go about filling the "Activities" section, to include sports teams, and international cultural summits and competitions etc? Even the school societies aren't really based on timed activities? So should I just rely on the transcripts and cv that the counselor sends in or do I have to complete this stuff on my own?
Help me out here pliss.

Anything that doesn’t have a red star beside it in the common app is optional and it is fine to leave it blank. Although there is a request to give an estimate of your time spent on the activities you list, that does not mean you should list only verifiable times activities. The purpose of reporting the time you spend is to allow the admissions committee to see how much of your time outside of school is spent on the activities you list. It’s fine to include unstructured activities. You do need to complete the full common app on your own, including the activities section.
