<p>On the Common App, at the "Future Plans" page, it asks for your intended major(s). I'm applying to 3 schools using the app, and one of them is Boston U in which they ask what you're majoring in at their supplement. </p>
<p>Can I put down different majors in those 2 pages? </p>

<p>Why would you if you can make alternate versions of common app?....Majors on common app and supplement should match for each school, IMO</p>
<p>I know the reason they do this is for schools with different colleges. For example, on my Northwestern app, I chose mechanical engineering. Since you can only apply to one undergraduate school at Northwestern, the intended major becomes the school to which you're applying. For me, mechanical engineering translates to McCormick. I don't know BU's policy on that, but I'd assume it would be similar. I think it would be in your best interest to stick to one major across the board.</p>
