Common App Online Question

Can I submit different essays to different colleges using the common app online? In other words, can I go back and completely change the text in the personal statement box after one application has been submitted online?

Absolutely. Just make sure that when you send in your first app, it only goes to the colleges that you want to give that essay to (you have to delete the other ones). After you send that, you can make an editable copy of the application where you can put in another personal statement and send that to the rest of your schools.

So I have delete all my colleges then re-add them? Is it possible to just select which colleges the application is submitted to?

As far as I know, you have to delete them. Supplements are saved, however, and reappear when you re add the colleges. Check out the Common App FAQ for more info.

yea, I'm not sure. There's probably a number you can call somewhere on the site. It's better safe than sorry...

I have a question about this too. I have an early action common app I want to submit earlier than the others..... do I just have that one school in the schools column when I press submit and then add the others(and remove this one) when I want to submit the others? Basically, can I submit the same form more then one time or do I have to redo the entire thing each sending time?

Thanks

anovice-Send it just to your Early Action school. After you do that, you'll have a saved copy of it you can either modify, or send as is to any other schools.
