Does Pomona offer merit scholarships?
Financial Aid is awarded strictly on the basis of financial need; the College does not offer merit scholarships.

They, however, do give several (I think it's something like 6) small scholarships to National Merit Finalists. But it's a pretty modest scholarship and not every National Merit Finalist who enrolls at Pomona is offered one of these scholarships, so the Admissions Office selects the few winners out of the pool of enrolled National Merit Finalists who indicated on their National Merit college choice card that Pomona is their first choice school.

I just heard back from their office--they are currently downloading all the supplements (and applications) so if yours has not been downloaded yet there should be no problem

It is possible that they are not actually downloading supplements, but rather just viewing them on a computer.
It's pretty much impossible to have responses for ED II received by applicants by February 15th if they haven't even downloaded the supplements yet. For applicants to receive responses by Feb. 15th, decisions would have to be sent out on Monday or Tuesday (the 12th or 13th).
I would just relax; if you got a letter saying the have everything from you, they have everything from you.

I applied EDII and I was worried because the commonapp website said that my supplement has not been downloaded yet. So I called the admissions office but they told me that it has been downloaded. So maybe it just doesn't show up on the website.

"I asked my friend who works in the admission office about this, and he said to tell you all that it will be within the next week, and that "those kids should stop worrying, and enjoy their last semester"

I don't get it. They set a deadline, then they don't bother to download the Supplement, and send notices that it hasn't been received???

It is simply bad manners. And then to tell people that inquire to "relax" !!!
