International student - worried about the supplements

I read that the application for international students is due Dec 15 and so sumitted my common app online before the deadline...then I was going to summit my supplementary part along with the essay, online, but also realized that it doesn't have to be until Jan 1 or 2 if it's sumitted online. So I fixed my essay and sent it on the 17th...now I know that only about one or two days have passed since then, but it's not downloaded yet and I'm just constantly worrying if I should have sumitted everything before the 15th...

is it alright??? I hope it doesn't affect me in anyway...

don't worry if your common app account doesn't show that it has been downloaded for a long time. as i understand it, last year the admissions office took a very long time to download applications for the regular decision deadlines and a lot of applications were really concerned, but it all turned out fine.

plus the additional two weeks for international system is sort of a buffer to ensure that app materials get through the int'l mail system to arrive on time.

thanks! I guess all this application stuff is just making me nervous.

Hmm, well as a fellow international, I'd advise you to call the admissions department. I really don't think you have anything to worry about but calling maks things a lot clearer and you will have peace of mind. Good luck!

I would too, if this thread wasn’t three years old :)
