Ok, I submitted my applications for NYU and Emory at 11:30...Central Time on 1/15, but when I submitted them, it said that I submitted them on 1/16.

This must've been because of the time zone difference, but now the schools are going to think that I submitted them late.

Should I contact the schools and let them know or something? I don't want them to think I was negligent (though I guess I was) and that I don't care about their schools.

I'm having this problem too. The thing is, I submitted the supplement after the time limit was technically up because I was editing the additional comments and I just...yeah I'm an idiot, I won't go into it. I guess I'm just out of the running, then, right? Probably shouldn't even ask...

I think you're probably fine, though...I mean, email them or call them tomorrow and they'll tell you what to do.

I, on the other hand....am screwed, I think.

DAMN...I HAVE THE VERY SAME PROBLEM!!!!!!!
I THINK IT SAID I WAS LIKE 23 MINUTES LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But i dont think common app allows us to submit late applications...like after the deadline the college automatically stops accepting it and the common app website will not display that college in your list...
DAmn....I hope the adcoms at WUSTL and Beloit know about this!!!
should I tell the colleges about this??

Lemme tell you something. They download them. Then some random intern or work-study case files them. Then those files go to the AdComs. Basically, chances are, no one's going to examine your file for the date. And colleges aren't stupid enough to reject applicants because they applied 30 minutes late...it would kill their popularity, and thus their USNWR ranking
