<p>Can anyone tell me how extracurricular activities are listed on the Common App? How do I describe the activity? Do I put the amount of years or do I use school years? Is this the area where I start listing where I volunteered and work?</p>

<p>I believe there are 10 questions max. You choose what type if activity it is (work, volunteer, sport, etc.), list how many hours per week and weeks per year and why’s high school years you participated, then you can fill out any awards or honors. </p>

<p>One suggestion is to put the most important ones on top.</p>
