Okay I have a few questions regarding the common application.

For the activities section, specifically the additional details and accomplishments, how long is that supposed to be? Do you write it as a list? Or in a paragraph?

Also for the activities section, for the hours/weeks, if you started something mid-year, would you calculate the hours to the point of the application process, or to the end of the year?

Can you attach a resume in the additional information section at then end? Or elaborate on another extra curricular?

Thanks

I just wrote a list for details and accomplishments for what it’s worth. I feel like there’s a limit to how much you can write on that one line, so I’m thinking no to paragraph.

I would calculate to the end of the year.

I would not attach a resume, simply because I’ve heard elsewhere that colleges don’t really like reading resume’s except if they ask for one. Personally (I haven’t heard anything about this anywhere), if the extracurricular is really important to you (equally as important as the one you’re writing about in the brief description of the other activity), then by all means, go ahead. If you can fit that into another essay if your college has a supplement, even better. Just make sure you’re portraying yourself the way you want to be portrayed (extra EC and all).
