Common App recommendation Problem!!HELP!!

<p>my recommender said she submitted the forms weeks ago, but the status in my account is still started. I had contacted the help center six times but they only gave ineffectual suggestions. anyone knows what can the problem be? </p>

<p>I am in the same boat and the common app keeps saying that if it says it is started then it is only started not submitted, they are not listening to what I say at all!
I ended up calling the school whose deadline was last Friday and they gave me a special e-mail to have my teacher send the letter to and I was hoping common app would fix this issue by now so I didn’t have to call my other colleges too (last time it took over 2 hours) and ask my very busy teacher to send stuff in but I guess that is the only option :confused:
I suggest calling the schools you are applying to and explain the situation and see what they say. Colleges understand all the common app issues and are flexible with where to send stuff and deadlines this year!
