Common App: Teacher Rec Question

<p>I want to get a recommendation from my AP Lang Teacher, who is now teaching at a different school. </p>

<p>However, when I write what school that I attend to on the Common App, it automatically writes down the teacher's school as the same school as mine. I know that most applicants get recs from teachers still at the same school, but this automatic thing mean that Common App REQUIRES teachers from the same school, or that this is just some thing that the system does?</p>

<p>And if it's just some thing that the system does, should I just tell my teacher to write where she teaches now instead?</p>

<p>You're not required to have a rec from a teacher who currently teaches at your high school. Why not print a blank copy of the teacher evaluation form and write in the correct school yourself?</p>
