Common App typo (facepalm)

Today, I realized that on my common app essay, I accidentally wrote "to me" instead of "me to." As in: "It perplexed me to discover that he lied." (I wrote, "It perplexed to me discover that he lied)

When I proofread it, my brain must have subconsciously read them in the correct order. However, the rest of the essay is clean. I'm applying to colleges with the caliber of Duke, Cornell, and Dartmouth. How much will this matter if the essay is good?

The typo will not matter in the least. Don’t worry about it. Even if someone does notice it in passing (and it is not at all certain that it will even be noticed), it will be immediately forgotten. My answer would be the same for just about any typo, and, as typos go, this is a minor one. Good luck!

Thanks for the reassurance nottelling
