I know what actual activities I want to mention, but I am unsure of how to answer the boxes.
For example:
Activity 1 for me is the DECA Club at my school, where I’ve been super involved and feel very strongly about.
I put it under Career Oriented (although i’m not ENTIRELY sure what to categorize it as…)
Next, “Position/Leadership description and organization name, if applicable”
How much do I say? I want to say DECA, Director of Marketing, Director of Communication
but there isn’t enough room. Am I saying too much then? would these go under “Please describe this activity, including what you accomplished and any recognition you received, etc.”? Or for that, I’d put things like “Created weekly schedules and worked in student store, spent 5 hours a week working on the DECA display case to show off all awards club members have achieved, State Competition 2016 and 2017…”
I’m just very unsure of how to word all of this and how to fit it in 150 characters! It is kind of difficult for me to do, with having done so much for a club (what i’ve described isn’t even everything), and how to word it properly. Thank you so much
You won’t have room for everything, so figure out what is most important.
Director could be abbreviated Dir.
Instead of calendar years, use school years.
“Some Award: 9,10.” indicates you won Some Award in 9th and 10th grades
