Common Application Deadline. PLEASE HELP.

<p>So...
I submitted my APPLICATION and SUPPLEMENT before 11:59 eastern time on the Common App. But my credit card had issues/ was janky, so my payment was complete minutes after the 11:59 ET deadline, but still Jan 1 in Central Time. </p>

<p>QUESTION: Does Common App have a grace period of 3 hrs for time zones (to account for the West Coast)? Because in Central Time, I met the deadline. Do colleges mind if payments are late as opposed to the actual application? </p>

<p>An answer to this question would give me a lot of sanity.

<p>Hi retro123. The payments we submitted prior to deadline still say an effective date of January 3 (next business day) so you should be okay, I think.</p>
