Common Application Supplement?

I paid for and submitted my common application to Rice last night. I'm on the Rice website now, and I'm asked to complete their application and pay the fee again. I don't have a problem with the $50 but if I do this will my application be submitted twice? Is there a supplement tab on the Rice admission site that I am just missing?

are u sure that u selected the common application supplement hyperlink.

coz i selected the part 1 of the rice application and was forced to fill up the rice original application rather than the common application supplement.

Just make sure again because usually universities dont charge for the supplements.

yeah... the bottom link of all the forms to fill out on the web site is the "Common Application Supplement"... and there's no fee... i missed it at first too, it's kinda hard to find..

I hit the supplements button, at Rice there is a link which brings me to the website. I clicked apply online and that brought me to the admissions site. I sign in and all I see is application and under it is form 1 and form 2. Perhaps it takes a while to update the database?

...no, don't click "apply online"... do this:

on the commonapp site, click "supplements"

hit "link" for the Rice Supplement

on the Rice site, underneath where it says "forms for freshman applicants," there are six links, click the LAST one... it says "Freshman Common Application Supplement"... click that.

hope that helps! :-)

the supplement is on paper only... no online submission or it

Thank you so much, I thought Rice would have an online supplement. Oh well.
