Hey guys
I am an upcoming junior , but there is never early to start concerning for college. Although i am not a senior can i sign up and actually receive (in order to check it out and create an idea) the application form in common app and universal app?
Thank you!

I think anyone can register for the common app but it’s my understanding that everything gets wiped out at the end of every July (so you’d lose your data) I could be wrong but that’s how I read it. If you want to look simply to get ideas about what types of essay questions they use and write some practice essays that might be helpful. Spend this year researching and looking at schools to determine where you want to apply. You’ll be busy enough this time next year!

We did this so yes, good idea. You can also register yourself as a teacher evaluator so you can see those formss too. Keep in mind:
- As ^ said, everything is cleared out at the end of the summer. Its generally a good idea to keep your essays and longer answers in a seperate document so you can spell check them and reuse them for other apps.
- The apps can change slightly from year to year
- Different colleges have different questions, so be sure to add the schools you are interested in

Thank you both for your responses! The common app is nothing like the MIT’s one , where you can’t get the application form until you’re a senior,is it? So there is no problem if i register , i will select the schools and check the app ?
