Commonly Asked Questions Re: SATII

yeah, there’s a room just for SATII takers.

In November, if I take a Language with Listening test, is it true that I will not be able to take any other test on the same day (e.g. Chemistry, Biology)?

I signed up for SAT II Chemistry and Math IIC
I’m not very confident about Math IIC, so what I’m thinking is…
Can I take the Chemistry test, finish it, and then take a look at Math IIC and try to do it? If I’m not feeling good about it, I will not finish the test and erase all the answers and cancel my score…ONLY my score for Math IIC, is this possible?

You have to either cancel all test scores from that day or none. Picking and choosing isn’t an option.

EMERGENCY QUESITON–what wouuld you guys say wrost score for 12 wrong…and 2 blank is for a bio sat II

I have a burning question about score choice (the subject tests!) I’m still confused about this policy… I understand that you can choose which reasoning test score gets sent by test date, and which subject test scores get sent by “individual test.” Now, does that mean that if I took the chemistry test once, and the biology test twice, but scored higher on my second bio test, I’d be able to send my chemistry score and my higher bio score? Or do I only have the option of choosing between chemistry and both my biology tests? Please help me out if you’re at all knowledgeable about this! Thanks.

I’m taking my first SAT II this June (Physics) and I’m just shocked by the amount of time that we are tested on. Is it just 1 hour of testing?!!? 1 HOUR ONLY ?!!??! Please do reply.

Will I need an admission ticket for SAT II’s?

Yeah you do.

Are all the question order the same for every test? For instance, will my Physics SAT II had questions in the same order as someone elses? Or is it like SAT, where they mix up different sections?

Everyone takes the same test.

^^but you can choose which test to take, so the guy next to you might take Physics, Math and you take Math, physics

Hey, if you take the SAT II twice, do both scores get sent to college or only the higher one?

Also, if you don’t want to take a test on test day do you just walk out?

Both scores unless you use Score Choice and choose which scores get sent.

Yes. No refund.

Er sorry, I meant if u take the test, but think you did bad can you cancel it right there and then? Or, do I have to just call in and tell them to cancel it?

Well, what I hear is if you want to cancel it, then you have to cancel all your scores from that day.

Hi, I was wondering how does the grading system works in SAT Subject II - do they take off points when you got the wrong answer? Just like the SAT I?

yes the scoring system is the same

I took the SAT II subject tests today and on the bottom of the answer sheet was the statement the proctor tells you to write in cursive, as if you were signing an official document. I wrote half in cursive, got impatient, then wrote the rest in sloppy handwriting. I still signed it and dated it, but will anything happen to my test scores?

beavercreekSKI, do not worry. They only look at that closely in the event of a test issue/irregularity.

OK, thanks.
