Communicating with college admissions people

I am a high school sophomore and I need to ask a personal question to admissions people at several colleges that I'm interested in applying to. How would I go about doing this? Thanks.

email. but id wait till decisions are out… theyre really stressed now, and it might just tickc them off. not to mention, your email may be lost in a pile of anxious seniors’ emails, and you may not get a reply.

i say wait till second week of april, since most colleges will be done then.

also, make sure its an important question… not just contacting so they “know your name”

Go to the website of each college and look for contact information.

What about attending college fairs? Would it be weird considering I’m a sophomore?

And no, it’s not to get my name known to colleges, it’s a rather personal and unique question that could affect the rest of my life.

sqd- it isn’t the least bit wierd to go to college fairs as a sophomore. Choosing a college is a big decision, and the earlier you start, the better prepared you will be. Plus, meeting an admissions person makes it much easier to call with questions in the futurel

Ooh, ok. this might be a dumb question, but are there any college fairs held at this time of the year?

Yes, most college fairs are geared to 9, 10, 11 grade students so many are in the spring. Senior year they expect most already have their decisions made.

below is a link to a list of Spring '09 college fairs from another thread.

Cool, one right in my own town. Thanks!
