Hey there! Graduation is coming up and I'm super stoked about getting in NYIT (New York Institute of Technology). I really wanted to do visual arts as a major so going to the manhattan campus seemed right. However, with a family background in the medical field, I really had a hard time choosing between the two.

I was doing some research into it and I believe I can still major in communication arts, but as the same time, do a premed track as I learned it was not a major. And then go to medical school.

I think that it kind of can offer me an edge as I can look versatile in future job searching, like if medical school didn't work out, I can do video production and advertising. Also, I think that may make me look like I'm challenging myself, rather than being just a generic medical school applicant.

I was just wondering if you guys had an advice for me, recommendation, concerns, and input for me. Perhaps things that I should know about before potentially jumping into something more that I bargain for. I would appreciate helpful comments.
