Communications Major Transfer Search - East Coast

Hi! I'm currently a sophomore television and radio communications major at an in state university. I've been having some trouble with colleges since I began. I started my first semester at a very well known communications school but became very homesick and instead of trying to give it a chance transferred closer to home to an instate university. However, my current in state college does not have a communications department on par with my first college and many of the places that I initially applied to. I'm much more comfortable with college and being away from home now and I feel like I should not be here and made a mistake. I was readmitted during the summer but because I could not get my scholarship back, financially I could not re-attend until Fall 2015.

However, now that I have the time to research I wanted to get some opinions on some other colleges and their transfer in rates. I'm currently looking at Emerson College, Marist College, Temple University, and Villanova University. Any information on these colleges and which ones are transfer and credit friendly would be greatly appreciated. Any other colleges that I could look into on the East Coast?

I currently have a 3.6 GPA, and my high school SAT was 1650 and my ACT was 25.

I don’t think your ACT or SAT scores will matter much if you are a junior year transfer next year.

Is the 3.6 GPA your college GPA?

Is Temple instate?

Transfers don’t get much aid, so do you know how much your parents will pay each year?
