<p>Hi, I was accepted into Steinhardt as a communications major, and I was wondering, what made you guys choose NYU over a less expensive option? I'm stuck on choosing state school UCSD communications vs NYU communications. Is the debt worth it as a communications major? UCSD's communications program is pretty good, the internships are accessible, and it's not that far from LA, yet I'm still a bit more drawn to NYU...</p>
<p>My sister did communications at Steinhardt and graduated back in 2008. In the middle of the recession, she received 8 job offers. The city is a place full of opportunity and really gets you ahead when it comes to job searching. Hope that helps a little!</p>
