<p>I'm a Comm major and I applied to - and have yet to hear from - UCSD, UCSB, UCLA (Communication Studies), UCB (Media Studies) and USC.</p>
<p>I was just wondering what Comm majors' stats are like here in CC. </p>
<p>Also, has anyone applied for Media Studies in Cal? I dont think I've come
across one yet here. And would you happen to know what the average admit
gpa is like? I'm not really hopeful for UCLA anymore since the average admit gpa is 3.93 or something and I only have a 3.78
with 72 units done by this spring. Although I am already done with all the pre reqs
and IGETC. Sooo idk, what is Berkeley ave admit gpa like for this? </p>
<p>I also applied to Cal as a Media Studies major, but I doubt I’ll get in. I’ve heard the avg admit is 3.7 so seems like you have a good shot! =) I applied to UCLA as a poli sci major.</p>
<p>@SMCguy I sure hope so. I’m wishing for the best for the both of us! I should’ve applied to UCLA with some other major! If only I knew a couple months back that the ave admit gpa was so high, I wouldn’t have had applied for it. </p>
<p>If I don’t get in Cal or USC then I’m for sure going to UCSD. I just hope they notify me of my acceptance already since I still don’t have a school to go to until now. </p>

Applied to UCLA, UCD, and UCB.
GPA:3.75
PRE REQ GPA: 4.0</p>
<p>unfortuantely I applied to Berkeley as a Rhetoric major, but I am hoping to switch to Media Studies if I get admitted. Anyone know how difficult that is? I feel pretty like my situation is pretty hopeless for UCLA, but its worth a shot.</p>

<p>I applied to UCLA Comm Studies and Berkeley Media Studies. My GPA is 4.0. I also have all the prereq’s for Psychology at Berkeley because I’m interested in that as well.</p>
<p>I’m currently looking up the stats of people from previous years that have gotten in in this major. Not doing so well right now. I still have a lot to go through. Lol</p>

<p>So, only one person has heard from any school so far regarding comm? I have yet to hear from any of the released schools (UCSD, UCSB). Having heard from no one only makes my wait for UCLA and Cal all the more intense.</p>

in to public relations/advertising so i chose communications as my major. Communications is a broad major so i can have more options with what field to specialize in upon graduating</p>
