Community College Advice?

Hello, I just made this account and am new to the scene. I would just like to get advice on eventually transferring, and other activities I should be doing, on the community college scene. I currently have a 3.8, volunteer at the local city hall, and was in cross country first semester. I did bad in high school, (~2.8) but was very involved with the school clubs and volunteering, and also was in track. How should I plan my remaining time at a CC?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

Maintain your good GPA and maybe join some clubs.

I would have found it very useful if someone had told me to figure out where I wanted to go. If you know where you want to transfer you can kind of optimize your classes for that. Even if you don’t know exactly where you want to go you can still get an idea of any required classes you might not have realized you should take.

keep your grades up and get all your gen ed. classes out of the way. I held a 3.8 GPA for 2 semesters until my last one, dropped to an overall 3.62. Anything above a 3.5, Im happy with though. I would start looking at schools to transfer to, it is a long hard process as I’ve been working on it the past 2 semesters. Take the time to go visit places your interested in transferring to. If you have a more clear idea of what your going to major in make sure you take classes that are credited and transferable.
