<p>Assist.org states I must complete 1 semester of Calculus. But then I also know I must complete two semesters of Calculus before starting Berkeley. So, can I take Calculus 2 during the summer, or do I have to complete it by the end of this Spring?</p>

<p>Complete them by the end of Spring 2012. Cal does not accept Summer 2012 classes for Fall 2012 admittance.</p>

<p>Cal use to be but due to students getting not so great grades in Calc 2 during the summer session they stop that practice. That and supply and demand of seats available along with the whole yearly flow of processing paperwork. They may let you in without it if you ace all your spring classes and not screw em up</p>
<p>It is a risk. I should probably contact them and discuss my options. I have over 60 units, 3.929 GPA and ready to transfer. Would hate to spend an extra year over one class.</p>
<p>If you plan to go to graduate school in economics, it is best to also take multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations (see the articulation list for the math or statistics major).
