UCB Econ. Must complete Calculus 2? HELP

I am in desperate need of completing a Calculus 2 Course. What are my options?

I already applied to UCB for Econ.

At this point wait it out. Since it’s already spring, I doubt you can do anything to change your classes to fulfill that needed class.

If you don’t complete your pre-reqs for Berkeley, and when econ is extremely impacted and competitive, you have no chance.

Assist says

"College Admission Requirements for Transfer Students
This major is offered by the College of Letters and Science (L&S).

By the end of the spring term preceding fall enrollment at Berkeley,
you must complete either:

1) The L&S Requirements in Reading & Composition, Quantitative Reasoning, and
Foreign Language; OR
2) IGETC

In addition:
• Complete as many lower division major requirements (see below) as possible
    before transfer.
  • This major may require specific coursework be completed prior to transfer.

In general:
• completion of L&S Requirements (or IGETC), plus
• strength of academic preparation, and
• grade point average
are the primary selection criteria for admission.

Admission to Berkeley with the stated intent to major in Economics does not
guarantee acceptance into the major. A departmental application is required.
Transfer students must apply to the major during the first four weeks of their
first semester.

Prerequisites:
Prior to registering for Berkeley courses, you are expected to have completed:
-At least 1 semester of calculus
-Econ 1

That is why I am confused. It says 1 semester before registering for Berk courses and I have that.

That’s to meet the qualification in order for your application to be considered and reviewed.

but Calc 2 is not a requirement for L&S. I can be admitted just not to the major.

^^It isn’t, but for Econ’s its highly recommend you complete it. Unless you tend to major something else?

I really appreciate your responses. If I come off as debative, my apologies. I tend to major in Econ. I called the Econ department and they said as long as Berk accepts me they don’t mind me taking it in summer. Calc 2 is not an admissions requirement. What you are saying does make sense, I am just being hopeful, and logically speaking, I see no problem with summer, especially since I have a very solid reason that is out of my control and I have completed all else.

Unless you have a 4.0 and some stellar ECs, I would not hold my breath. Look at the acceptance thread from last year, there were some students with good stats who got rejected.
