At this point wait it out. Since it’s already spring, I doubt you can do anything to change your classes to fulfill that needed class.

If you don’t complete your pre-reqs for Berkeley, and when econ is extremely impacted and competitive, you have no chance.

you must complete either:

2) IGETC

Admission to Berkeley with the stated intent to major in Economics does not
guarantee acceptance into the major. A departmental application is required.
Transfer students must apply to the major during the first four weeks of their
first semester.

Prerequisites:
Prior to registering for Berkeley courses, you are expected to have completed:
-At least 1 semester of calculus
-Econ 1

That is why I am confused. It says 1 semester before registering for Berk courses and I have that.

That’s to meet the qualification in order for your application to be considered and reviewed.

but Calc 2 is not a requirement for L&S. I can be admitted just not to the major.

^^It isn’t, but for Econ’s its highly recommend you complete it. Unless you tend to major something else?

I really appreciate your responses. If I come off as debative, my apologies. I tend to major in Econ. I called the Econ department and they said as long as Berk accepts me they don’t mind me taking it in summer. Calc 2 is not an admissions requirement. What you are saying does make sense, I am just being hopeful, and logically speaking, I see no problem with summer, especially since I have a very solid reason that is out of my control and I have completed all else.

Unless you have a 4.0 and some stellar ECs, I would not hold my breath. Look at the acceptance thread from last year, there were some students with good stats who got rejected.
