Hi, I am going to attend UCLA in Fall 2014 as a first-time freshman. So I'm currently taking some general education classes at a local community college to satisfy some of the GE requirements. I know that the grades I receive in these classes will not be calculated into my GPA at UCLA, but I'm not sure if the grades will show up at all on the UCLA transcript. Does it have any long-term effect if I get a couple of B's? For graduate school?
Thanks

For grad school, you’ll have to send a separate official transcript from the community college in addition to the UCLA transcript. The cc classes will just be listed as transfer credit on the ucla official transcript with a total number of units and not the actual grades. But nevertheless, you’ll have to report all grades for all college classes you’ve taken.
