<p>Hi everyone, I will be attending Berkeley this fall as a freshman. I'm planning to take UC transferable courses at a community college this summer for GE credit. Do I need to get permission from Berkeley admin to do so?</p>
<p>I think the most important thing will be submitting your community college transcript to Berkeley when it becomes available. I would call the department at Berkeley to which you will be matriculating (i.e. L & S) to confirm this. I would also reference assist.org to determine which specific requirements will be satisfied by the community college course that you plan to take.</p>
