If I took classes at a community college, can I get credit for all of them or are there some specific rules as to which ones can be counted?

you have to make sure the class you want to take will be recognized by berkeley, so you will get credit. These classes also won't go into your UC gpa, whether that is good or bad depends on what you're taking.

Where do I find out if it is recognized or not?

assist.org

what if i took a course at a community college that i dont wan't to be in my college transcript, is there anything i can do? the problem is that i didnt take the course seriously, resulting in a low grade

Well, if you took a class at a community college, berkeley doesn't include that into your gpa, you're just given credit if you passed it. So it won't hurt nor harm you.

i've heard that graduate schools/med school looks at all classes taken though which would affect my GPA

Well, courses at a CC are going to be SO much easier than Berkeley courses it's not going to hurt even if computed into GPA. No one is going to argue this now?

Back in high school, I took cc courses and got all As. It was even easier than my high school classes!
