Community college first then UP?

So i’m extremely interested in UP but i would like to go to a community college (HACC in harrisburg) for the first two years then transfer to UP due to financial reasons. Would that be a pretty solid idea? My gpa in highschool was 3.9 or 3.8 ( i’m 21 and can’t really remember but it’s above 3.7) and interested in Computer Science.
