Community college in the summer?

I will be attending Cal in the fall. Can I take R&C B at a community college this summer and get credit for it at cal. I want to get that class out of the way.

So English 1B it is. Thanks a lot mechrocket.

I heard math 1b was the most failed class at cal b/c it has a different approach to the concepts so i was thinking of taking community college equivalent to get math basics down & then take math 1b again during fall semester to adjust to professor’s different teaching style. however, when speaking to adviser, said i can only get credits for the cal’s math 1b class, not both, since they’d be fulfilling the same requirement anyway.

not a question, just comment.

If you take a Math 1B equivalent at a community college (see [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) ), then you do not need to take it at Berkeley and can go on to Math 53 or 54 or other courses for which Math 1B is a prerequisite.
