Community college math course vs AP spanish?

I want to take differential equations (I would have met the pre-req's) next semester at a local community college. I was planning to do ap Spanish at my high school but don't think I can manage both with college apps.
I will be a senior, so would colleges see community college courses during 1st semester?
I am planning to major in engineering, so I am currently leaning toward the community college course.
Which would be a better option? Thanks :)

Have you taken or will you take linear algebra as well? If not, then be aware that some schools combine linear algebra and differential equations into one course, so having transferable credit in one course would not help.

Do you plan to take additional Spanish courses in college, or otherwise continue to learn Spanish, or anticipate finding Spanish knowledge useful in the future?

I did take linear algebra; it was one of the prerequisites. I may have to take Spanish if I have to as a core course in college. Practically useful in life… Sure
But a strong math background would also useful in the long run…, and maybe even for short term admissions
So with my situation and goals I’m confused as to which would be most beneficial admission wise… Would colleges appreciate I’m taking such a course outside senior year? You do bring up a good point with transferability… I’ll look at that

Do your potential schools recommend/require four years of a language? Do you have that filled without the AP Spanish?
