Community College or UIC to UIUC? For CS/Soph. Transfer

<p>Lets just say my H/S grades weren't that great and I was wandering if I should try and get into the University of Illinois at Chicago or to a local community colleg? I plan to transfer to Univ. of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for Computer Science for my sophomore year. By the way does anyone know the acceptance rate for transfers to the UIUC for CS? Thanks</p>

<p>Also if it helps I am eligible to get free tuition at Univ. of Illinois Chicago.</p>

<p>If you have the opportunity to go to UIC for free, I would go. That would also greatly increase your chances to transfering to U of I. :)</p>
