I currently am in the second semester of my Freshman year at community college. I am interested in majoring in Communications. On ASSIST.ORG, none of the classes offered at my community college correlate with classes at 4 year state schools and universities. How am I supposed to complete prerequisite classes if they aren't offered? Can I still transfer?

Yes, you can still transfer. It just means that your major doesn’t have specific requirements for that school.

I’d recommend getting in touch with the Office of Admissions at the school(s) that you are looking to apply, and asking them to send you the articulation agreement between their school and the community college(s) that you are attending. Best of luck to you!
