Hey guys one of my teachers suggested that I take Calculus 1 at a city college over the summer and then go into Calculus BC junior year, so then I would take college classes like calculus 3 and differential equations during senior year. My original motivation for that was to self study physics c junior year but that idea was thrown out the boat. If I have no other apparent motive for the “calculus 1 over the summer” action other than to get ahead or immerse myself in math, should I do that or just stay on the “calculus AB junior and then calculus BC senior” year route? What would colleges think?
At your school, do community college classes count for less GPA than AP classes?
You high school does not offer calculus BC (including the AB material) over one year for student who just finished precalculus?
