Ok. I am going to go to community college come autumn. It will be my first year. However, I would really like to transfer into Brown University. I know that this is not the first time this has been asked, however, I was just wondering a few things.

What kind of classes should I be taking? In the fall I will be taking 4 classes. Math, English, French, and Zoology. The Zoology class is a class and a lab.

I know that Brown has fierce competition for transfer students. However, I love the fact that you can basically design your own education and pick classes. I feel like it is so free. It is exactly what I want to do, have a little education from every aspect. The university also has so many different options. It just seems like a really good fit for me.

But, as previously stated, it is a really competitive school to transfer into. I was wondering how many classes I should take for my first two years? The first semester I am taking 4. Should I take 5 second semester? If I don't get into Brown and a different school requires that I take (lets just say) 5 classes. Did I just doom myself because I only took 4 each semester?

Also, I wasn't exactly the most stellar student in hs, so if I show a lot of improvement in my college years, will that be to my benefit or not so much?
