There are none. There are many students who are well qualified for other schools, yet opt for a community college because of financial restraints. Not everyone has 40K per year to spend on school, when they could go to a CC for a year and spend 2K. There are numerous quality students at community colleges.

A2wolves most colleges in state have heavily subsidized rates for tuition.

I know... but some students can't afford the room and board at those schools, in addition to the 4-6K for tuition. That's still around 10K.

hell, around here(ocean county), NJ, you get a full ride if you're in the top 20% of the class

Is that to any college of their choice?

some people want to live at home and work, so they go to community college. My cousin went because she scored low on the sat's and needed to take some remidial courses.

Haha hellllllll yeah my local CC (in NJ) advertises the NJStars program, too.

Graduate in the top 20% + enroll as a full time student = free tuition to CC!
