I’m doing community service over the summer, and I have no where near the huge amounts of hours people on this site have accumlated. but if I list it as one of my summer activities, then I don’t have to include how many hours, correct?
thanks

Hmm, interesting question, I'm in the same boat =/

I don't know if this is true everywhere, but where I volunteer, we keep track of the hours we work and at the end, we add them up and fill out a form, which the supervisor then signs.

Service learning?

Some schools ask you to put hours or time you put into activities. You don't have to be exact. I always round up. Hee.

Listen, you don't need to have 2k hours of community service. That is outrageous and it looks like You're a Jr/Sr. I dont know how you can get that much in such little time. And I don't see a need to.

hours don't really "mean" anything tho.
it's the leadership that u put into those things, u know?

how many hours is considered a good amount? 30? 60? 80?

lol...not relaly

depends

if it's regular volunteering

around the hundreds...300s..400s is good amount i guess

I'd say, any amount over around 80-100 is a good amount, especially if it's not required for school.
