Community service oopsy! AHHH!

Basically, my recorded comm. service hours come out to be 345. Using the online app and different lines to emphasize the different places I've volunteered at (hospital, clubs) and the weeks/year and hours/week thing, I accidentally recorded it as 400 hours total.

My concern is...will they check and if they do, are they going to think that I "lied" even though it was an honest mistake? Or should I just try and make up the 65 hours in the next few months? Or is it even worth worrying about?

Ahhh, this is such a huge mistake and I can't even go back to change it since I submitted it two weeks ago!

i have no idea, but i would think that since you've already done so much, they probably wont notice it (as opposed to someone who does 10 hrs and records as 100 hours)

How could you "accidentally" record 400 hours?

I find it odd that you would "accidentally" round the number to the nearest hundred but honestly, no they will not know the difference. The only way they would figure it out is if somehow they go to this website and see this post and realize you are the one making it. I had friends who lied about hundreds of hours of service. It is an immoral thing to do and if they do check up it can have massive consequences even after you are accepted, but in your case I would not worry.
