Hey I was wondering if theres an online community service program to gain hours and be involved in. I want to be unique and due to my inability to drive, I would like to do something constructive since I spend most of my time on the computer. I want an online program that is good for college applications.

also interested if anyone can think of anything good...but really, the only thing I can think of is designing a website for a charity, or your school. My brother designed a website for a math musuem (very low-key, not a huge deal) but had to drive there...or at least email the person he was doing it for.

You might be better off trying to get something started in your school, and having the school provide transportation, like a trip to a nursing home, etc.

This doesn't seem that unique to me...it seems to me like a way to get out of having to put yourself out there in order to help your community. The whole point of community service is to step out of your normal activities/routine and do something to better the world around you.

If you're heck bent on it, you're going to have a heck of a time that will make colleges really find you unique.

Mmm.... my friend did a tutoring program online. I don't remember what it's called but he got NHS hours for it so it must have been legit. I'll find out what it was later.
