I am a senior this year and am still up in the air regarding where to go to college. There is a smaller college that is less than a mile from my high school, and then in-state universities about an hour from home.
What are some pros and cons about going to a school so close to home/high school? I am worried that it will be too much like high school and won't provide the true "college experience."

I think the title of your post is very misleading. Community is in general associated with community colleges(junior colleges) and universities are schools you go for undergrad.

Are you asking whether you should just go to junior college or a 4 year school? If this is your question, then after 2 years you're going to have to transfer somewhere if you want a Bachelor's degree.
