<p>Do a lot of people who live in the DORMS go home on the weekend? </p>
<p>I live in illinois so obviously that would not be an option for me, but it would be no fun to go there if on the weekends I was left all alone.</p>
<p>Since the people living in dorms aren’t commuters I don’t think they go home on weekends.
There are a lot of out of starters anyway, so it’s no big deal. I’m in state but I live too far away to be home during weekends, not that I would want to be</p>
<p>After first semester, you should have even less to worry about in this regard. Of course, there are advantages to eating home cooked meals should one of your friends decide to go home for the weekend. When life hands you lemons…</p>
<p>First off, it’s a huge school so even though some IS students do go home (mostly freshman) on weekends, there are still LOTS of people on campus! FYI, it typically is an every other weekend thing because of the football schedule…everyone stays to go to games! </p>
