Commuter School?

I'm interested in attending Saint Joseph's, but I come from fairly far away, and one of my biggest concerns is that the campus empties out come Friday until classes resume on Monday.

I'd really like to know whether or not there are parties on campus, how active Greek life is, and if there are an abundance of kids who depart frequently.

Thanks for the help.

From last weeks student newspaper " the 40 different states and over 23 international countries next year’s accepted freshman represent."
As I mentioned in another post the people in my suite come form all over, even the West coast.
There are parties, both off and on campus and we have both frats and sororities. No sororotiy houses though.
There are lots of weekend activities, organized events in the city and you can also just explore the city with your friends. Phillie Flyers, plays, night tubing and skiing, and trips to NYC were offered this semester.

I honestly don’t mean to sound like an ass, but I’m more interested in whether or not there is true spirit at St. Joe’s and/or people at the school leave for other Philly schools for parties.

Most importantly, is there an abundance of commuters? That is my biggest concern.
