Comp course

I am a freshman who is going to be entering honours mathematics and physics. Now, I am planning on taking a computing course, which would normally be comp 202. However, since I am likely going to be working with scientific modelling, would it be better to take comp 208, despite not being an engineering student?

no you should take comp 202. in terms of scientific modeling, you will do some in u1 so don’t worry. i was in same program with you so i know it.

ok thanks. I was sort of looking for a challenging course, and I thought it would be helpful to have that knowledge. Obviously if there is the modeling done second year though I shouldn’t really worry

Out of curiosity, what languages did you work with for modeling in u1?
