comp finance

I've been poking around the school's website and i came across the BS degree in computational finance. It seems like a blend of business and math, which i'm interested in, so i have a few questions.

1) What are the job opportunities like (how respected is it)?
2) How hard is it to get in?
3) What are the big factors for admission?
4) How intensive is it?

Thx in advance

1) Advance Trading magazine ranks CMU's Comp Finance program as one of the Top 10 ( in fact as # 1)
The Top 10 Quant Schools, According to the Street by Advanced Trading

2) Blue chip companies recruit at CMU. Excellent salry offers.

The program is based in Tepper School of business at CMU.It is quite tough to get admission

3) Grades, test results ,extra curricular activities and solid letters of recomendations.I would also recomend Alumni interview

4) Quite intense from what one hears. But all programs at CMU are challenging but worth the hard work.

Go for it........

Unmatched program.
Very selective and competitive.
Don't think you can get in as a freshman (thought you had to transfer in).
