compare Texas A & M, U of Pitt, U of Colorado

I know I am on the Texas A & M form but would you please compare these 3 schools for engineering. Which would you pick and why? Thanks

Overall: Pitt>A&M>Colorado. I don’t know much about Pitt or Colorado engineering, but I don’t think they’re better than A&M.

sorry about the double post

TAMU is better than all three of those schools for this given specialty. However, if one campus feels “right”, then go with what fits. I’m sure all three schools are good.

TAMU is ranked much higher than Pitt. However, Pitt is a good school. The environments are completely different. Don’t know anything about Colorado

I don’t think TAMU is ranked much higher than Pitt.

At Pitt you have the advantage of being next to Carnegie Melon where you can also take classes if it offers something of interest to you.

aTm is ranked higher than Pitt in engineering. Pitt is typically ranked higher as an overall school than aTm or CU. The type of engineering might also make a difference, as some specialities may be better at one over the other. Pitt (urban) and aTm (rural) are in extremely different settings, while CU is in between in Boulder. All three have very different cultures (e.g. aTm is much more conservative while CU would probably be the most liberal). You really should visit these schools because your choices are so disparate.
